Welcome to the official campaign website for the Fredericks for Maryland campaign. I'm excited to run as a Republican candidate for State Delegate in District 30B.  After 21 years of continuing service to the citizens of Anne Arundel County as a police officer, it is time to take my experience to the State House!

My unblemished career is a testament to the integrity, honesty, accountability and leadership I bring to the job as your State Delegate. I support open reporting to let you know where your tax dollars are spent, and term limits for State Delegates and Senators. South County individuals and businesses are weary of their tax dollars going elsewhere in the state and rarely making it back into our neighborhoods, infrastructure and bay tributaries. South County residents need a common sense voice to protect their tax dollars, their neighborhoods, their families, and their rights.

As a current police commander, I am very aware of the problems facing our communities, and I have the leadership experience to understand complex issues and implement timely solutions. As a community volunteer, I understand the struggles of local residents to survive during tough economic times. As a parent of high school and college children, I understand the need for a quality public education system that involves teachers and parents in the process.

Retirees and businesses are leaving Maryland at a steady rate. It's time to rekindle the spirit of individuals and provide an environment for businesses to survive and thrive. I will support legislation to protect retiree paychecks and eliminate their state income taxes to allow them to retire and stay in Maryland. I will support small businesses through programs to incentivize growth and provide initiatives to help businesses struggling with costs. I am no stranger to the concerns of small business, as my wife is a former small business owner, and my family has owned and operated businesses in the county since 1918.

I believe there is no one running in the District 30B race who can match the combination of experience, education, and leadership that I bring to this election. We need representatives in office who can be held to the highest standards of ethical behavior, which has been my career-long commitment. Let's raise the level of expectation for elected officials and elect someone who truly represents your views and values with honesty, commitment, and strength. I ask for your vote on June 24th.
